oToBrite Unveils Enhanced Level 2+ ADAS System for Commercial Vehicles at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024

oToBrite, the Vision-AI Expert, has announced the development of an enhanced Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for commercial vehicles. This groundbreaking achievement not only signifies a significant advancement in vehicle safety and automation but also aligns with the global Vision Zero initiative, which aims to eliminate traffic-related fatalities and severe injuries. The company’s latest innovation, oToGuard, builds upon its world-first all-in-one ADAS product for large commercial vehicles and is set to enter mass production.

oToGuard’s advanced vision-AI technology enables a wide range of ADAS functions, including the Blind Spot Information System (BSIS, UN R151), Moving Off Information System (MOIS, UN R159), Driver Monitoring System (DMS), and Reversing Information System (REIS, UN R158). Additionally, the system incorporates Level 2+ ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automated Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Change Assist (LCA, UN R79 ACSF-C), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA, UN R79 ACSF-B1). Notably, the system’s high-precision lane detection, accurate to within 20 centimeters, has already obtained UN R79 CSF and ACSF-B1 certifications with several electric bus manufacturers, proving its reliability.

One of the key strengths of oToGuard lies in its flexible system architecture, allowing easy integration with existing in-vehicle displays, video event data recorders, fleet management platforms, and electronic mirrors (E-mirrors) that cover class II, IV, V, and VI fields of view. This integrated design streamlines the supply chain, reduces installation time, and lowers wiring costs, making it a cost-effective solution for large commercial vehicle OEMs and fleet management.

oToBrite will showcase the oToGuard system, along with its 1-8MP automotive camera modules and other commercial vehicle-related products, at the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 exhibition. The event will take place from September 17-22 at the Hannover Exhibition Center, providing attendees with the opportunity to experience the full range of features firsthand. With growing interest from manufacturers in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Taiwan, oToBrite aims to lead the way in commercial vehicle safety and ADAS innovation, contributing to the global Vision Zero movement.
