At the HUAWEI CONNECT 2024 forum held in Shanghai, Huawei introduced its enhanced Xinghe Intelligent SASE Solution, accompanied by the release of two technical white papers. The event aimed to address the pressing need for robust security foundations in various industries amidst the growing threat of cybercriminals exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) for malicious purposes.
To combat this rising concern, Huawei has extensively analyzed over 1 billion malware samples and developed 18 security foundation models. Additionally, the company has created four specialized security acceleration engines capable of detecting 91% of unknown threats. These cutting-edge technologies provide a robust security framework for businesses worldwide.
During the forum, Ma Ye, President of the Security Product Domain of Huawei’s Data Communication Product Line, emphasized the lack of robust security protection capabilities in over four million enterprise branches globally. This has led to a shift towards Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture in branch security transformation. Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent SASE Solution offers integrated protection capabilities across the cloud, network, edge, and endpoints, leveraging AI-driven intelligence to significantly enhance security performance. The solution aims to deliver converged network-security solutions tailored to meet the needs of enterprise branches worldwide.
The Huawei Xinghe Intelligent SASE Solution White Paper explores the SASE trend, key technologies, and use cases, setting the path forward for advancing China’s SASE industry and establishing a new standard for SASE development.
In addition, Huawei unveiled the Huawei HiSec Endpoint Intelligent Endpoint Security System Technical White Paper, which highlights the growing threat of generative AI-assisted malware tools and advanced attacks exploiting zero-day and n-day vulnerabilities. These sophisticated threats primarily target endpoints, necessitating the establishment of a comprehensive security framework encompassing visualization, defense, detection, and response. Huawei aims to further develop AI-powered defense technologies in network security, driving intelligent transformations and generational upgrades for enterprise networks across various sectors.
