Google has announced an update to its Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) writing tools, allowing users to further refine their email drafts. The company’s existing Help Me Write feature, which assists in generative AI email creation, has been enhanced with new options such as Formalize, Elaborate, Shorten, and now, Polish. The Polish feature is available on both web and mobile platforms, enabling users to transform rough notes from a draft document into a more formal message.
On mobile devices, the Help Me Write shortcut will now appear within the body of the email, granting users access to the feature. Once a draft contains 12 or more words, the Refine My Draft shortcut will be displayed, allowing users to utilize the Polish option.
